Volunteer on our Organic Farm

Hello Farm Folk,

March is almost over and the farming season is upon us!  Are you looking for a way to enrich your quality of life while making a difference in the community? Are you interested in volunteering on an organic farm this year?  Helping out on the farm is a great opportunity to learn practical growing skills, to spend time outdoors, and to meet wonderful like-minded folks. Volunteer activities include a combination of planting, weeding, harvesting, preparing veg for market, plant care, and more.

The Cutting Veg, based out of Elmgrove Farm, welcomes volunteers every Friday, and some Sundays from April to October, 8am-1pm. Our farm is located approximately 1 hour north of Toronto, and we require no commitment.  Volunteer as often as you like.

If you are interested in being kept up to date about volunteering, email Daniel at daniel@thecuttingveg.com, and ask to be added to the volunteer list.

It’s going to be another great year of growing food in community.  We hope you can be part of the team!

Looking forward to farming with you soon!

Until then, Keep Livin’ on the Veg!

Daniel.

P.S. Looking to do a good deed today?  Nothing feels better than giving!  Consider making a donation to Black Creek Community Farm.
